Chicken Vegetable Soup, Chinese (M, TNT)

Serves: 6

2 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 cup celery, sliced
1 4-ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained
6 cups cabbage, shredded
7 1-ounce packets vegetable bouillon
6 cups water
1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
2-1/2 cups cooked chicken, cut into strips

Sauté celery and mushrooms in margarine until tender. Add cabbage and sauté for 3 minutes.

Add bouillon, water, water chestnuts, soy sauce and chicken. Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
