Bagel Chips II (D/P, TNT)
Source: Unknown
Yield: 2 cups

2 cups thinly sliced bagels (making little rounds, instead of flat doughnuts)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/8 to 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce (may substitute something else with a vinegar base if the Worcestershire sauce is a problem)
1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
Seasoned salt
Pepper
Onion powder

This is just like making Chex mix. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Melt the butter, mix in the Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke, and pour over the sliced bagels. I do this in a bowl but you can do it on the baking tray also. Toss the bagel slices with the dressing, and then spread in an even layer on a baking sheet or jellyroll pan.

Toast the bagel slices for about 15 minutes, then stir to turn them over and toast for about 15 minutes again, checking to be sure they are not burning. Remove from oven when browned and crisp. Sprinkle with the seasoned salt, pepper, and onion powder. Allow to cool some before trying to eat them! Store in a sealed container.
