Cucumber Salad, Hungarian III (P, TNT)

Serves: 12

6 large regular cucumbers
Salt
1 cup water
1 cup or less white vinegar
4 tbsp. sugar

Wash and peel the cucumbers. Cut into very thin slices, sprinkle lightly with salt, and let stand for 15 minutes.

Pour off all the liquid. Mix the water, vinegar and sugar, and pour over the cucumbers. Place in the refrigerator for one hour.
