Bean Salad, Sweet and Sour (Three-Bean Salad) III (P, TNT)

Serves: 6-8

16 ounces green beans
16 ounces kidney beans
16 ounces wax beans
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup onion, chopped

Drain the three kinds of beans and place them in a bowl. Add all ingredients EXCEPT the onion. Mix well and chill several hours. Add 1/2 cup onion before serving.

Poster's Notes:
You can jazz this up by using bottled Italian dressing instead of the vinaigrette called for, or change the beans around and use whatever you have on hand.
