Kasha, Basic I (P, TNT)

2 cups kasha
1 egg
1 egg white
1 tsp. salt
1 full tsp. chicken soup powder
2 tbsp. oil
Cooking spray (or use another 1 tbsp. oil)
boiling water

Put all ingredients in a bowl but the oil. Beat with a hand whisk until all become foamy.

Spray heavy cooking pot with Pam, and add 2 tbsp. oil.

Heat well and add kasha. Stir all the time until kasha is dry (about 2-3 minutes).

Add boiling water until it covers top. Stir, cover and reduce heat. Continue to simmer for 20 minutes. Stir 2-3 times during the cooking time. If you see that there is no water after 10 minutes just add a few drops of water. Take off heat.

Leave lid on pot to steam for another 10 minutes. Serve with a main course.
