Chicken Fricassee, Moroccan (M, TNT)

Serves: 8-10

2 chickens, in portions, dried with paper towels
Oil for frying
1 onion, chopped
6 tbsp. tomato paste
1 cup water
2 tbsp. soup powder
1 tbsp. vinegar
Some garlic powder
Paprika
1 to 1-1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Handful of raisins or mushrooms or green olives

In large covered fry pan, fry chicken pieces on both sides in oil until yellow/brown. Remove from pan.

Add to pan the onion, tomato paste, water, soup powder, vinegar and garlic powder. Cook 10 minutes. Sauce will be thick.

Add paprika to taste, also cumin, chili powder, raisins, and mushrooms or olives. Add chicken. Cover and cook on low heart until done.

I didn't have to wash dishes as the plates were licked clean when I made it.
