Chicken Marinade, Cuban (Adobo) (M, TNT)
Source: I think I got it from Joan Nathan's JEWISH COOKING IN AMERICA but by now my handwritten copy is so stained and torn it's hard to tell where it came from.
Serves: 4

5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 cup lime juice
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tbsp. olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Chicken parts for 4 (I use about 3 lbs.)

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour over chicken parts and allow to marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours or, preferably, overnight.

Grill marinated chicken and serve garnished with fresh cilantro.
