Lasagna, Cheese-Spinach III (D, TNT)
Source: My sister-in-law
Serves: 5 to 6

10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed
1 pound cottage cheese
2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 eggs
24 ounces spaghetti sauce (I will use any spaghetti/marinara type sauce)
1 package lasagna noodles, uncooked (I don't usually use the whole box)
12 slices American cheese (I don't like this in the recipe and always omit)

Combine the spinach, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, and eggs in a bowl.

In a greased, 11-3/4"x9-1/4" pan, pour a very thin layer of spaghetti sauce. Cover the sauce with noodles (I always use 3 noodles for each noodle layer). Top that with half the spinach mixture. If desired, place 6 slices American cheese, then 1/3 spaghetti sauce. Cover the sauce with another layer of uncooked noodles. Spoon on the other half of the spinach mixture over the spaghetti sauce layer, then the 6 remaining cheese slices, then another 1/3 of the spaghetti sauce, then another layer of uncooked noodles. Cover the noodles with the last 1/3 of spaghetti sauce.

Lightly grease a piece of foil and tightly cover the pan. Bake for one hour at 350°.
