"Bisquick" Substitute II (D, TNT)
Source: CopyKat.com
Yield: 14 cups of biscuit mix

10 cups flour
6 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1-1/4 cup powdered milk
1-1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 pound vegetable shortening

Mix all together and store in an airtight container. This will last approximately a month. When mixing, the consistency you want is similar to cornmeal or wheat germ. You can cut this recipe in half. Use as you normally would use Bisquick.

Poster's Notes:
This recipe is from the "CopyKat.com" website. If you want to make it pareve, leave out the powdered milk, and use pareve liquids.
