"Jello" Mold, Strawberry-Banana (D/P, KLP, TNT)

2 3-oz. or 1 6-oz. package strawberry gelatin
3 medium bananas (mashed)
1 #1 4-oz. can crushed pineapple in natural juices
1 cup crushed walnuts
1 pint sour cream
2 10-oz. packages frozen strawberries

Mix gelatin per package directions. Add mashed bananas, pineapple, nuts, and strawberries to gelatin mixture.

Pour 1/2 of mixture into glass serving bowl and refrigerate until firm.

Pour sour cream on top of gelatin when it has firmed up. Pour remaining gelatin (carefully) over sour cream and refrigerate until firm.

Poster's Notes:
This recipe calls for sour cream but it certainly be eliminated.

If using the sour cream use the glass serving bowl as it makes a very nice presentation. When not using sour cream, pour entire gelatin mixture into mold.
