Poster's Notes:
I've been on the lookout for new and different canned fruits to try for the sorbet. It's hard to find unusual ones in my local supermarkets, but I recently came upon Oregon Kadota Figs in heavy syrup at a local Shoprite. Although I don't think I would ordinarily have picked up a can of figs, I decided to do so in the spirit of experimentation. The result was delicious. Now it's my newest favorite flavor with a little interesting crunch from the tiny seeds. It's definitely a keeper.
