Ice Cream Cake, Layered (D/P, TNT)
Source: Self
Serves: 10-12

1 container pareve ice cream, softened
1-2 cups cut up fruit; I use mangoes when in season, peaches in summer, bananas any time--strawberries would be good, too
1-2 cups cake and cookie bits; can add cheap store bought cookies if you don't have enough, finely crumbed in food processor
1/3 cup melted margarine
4 tbsp. cocoa powder

Blend last three ingredients.

Alternately layer fruits, cookie mix, and "ice cream" in container that is about 1/4 larger than original ice cream container, dividing each ingredient into thirds or fourths depending on depth of container.

Refreeze.

Soften slightly by removing from freezer about 30 minutes before serving.

Poster's Notes:
Being naturally lazy and hating to waste food I came up with this recipe to use all the delicious bits of broken cookies, cakes, crumbs etc., that accumulate when I store this stuff in the freezer. It has the added advantage of making rather bland pareve ice cream into something special although dairy ice cream could be used as well.
