Source: Self
Serves: 4 to 6

Batter:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 stick butter or margarine, cut in 16 pieces
1 egg
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons cream or non-dairy creamer
Dash cinnamon
Scraping of nutmeg

Filling:
1 can apple pie filling
1 container cranberry-orange relish or substitute 1 cup craisins with an orange with peel ground in processor into small bits

Mix fruits together and place in 8" square Pyrex pan.

Combine all ingredients for batter in processor, pulse until smooth and and pour over fruit filling.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Poster's Notes:
I was planning to make a cobbler with a streusel top, but, after dumping flour and butter into the processor and turning it on, I answered the phone. By the time I got back to the processor, everything was blended instead of being "crumbed." So I added a few more ingredients to make it cakelike, poured it over the filling and got raves from my family!

I think any combination of fruit would work in this recipe, but the apples and cranberries really complement each other.
