Poster's Notes:
With Thanksgiving, and "black Friday" right around the corner, I've been starting to think about Chanukah. This recipe was my Grandmother's. My mom still makes apple cake with it, but I use it every year to make cookies for Chanukah. I have cookie cutters that I bought years ago (KTAV) and although I have tried many other recipes for cookies, I always find this dough the easiest to work with, and that it makes the tastiest cookies.
