Muesli Slice (P)

Serves: 18

1/2 cup rolled millet
2 cups rolled oats or puffed millet
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup brown rice flour
1/4 cup currants or chopped fresh dates
1/4 cup finely chopped dried apricots
2 cups almonds
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup hot water

Mix together rolled millet, rolled oats or puffed millet, sunflower seeds, brown rice flour, currants, and apricots.

Grind almonds to a paste. Add almond paste, honey, and hot water to dry mixture, mixing all ingredients well together. Spread onto a lightly greased tray.

Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until lightly browned. cool, then refrigerate before slicing.

Poster's Notes:
This recipe is free of dairy products, wheat, corn, sugar, eggs, soy, orange. Nice and healthy!
