Chocolate Chip Cookies, Mrs. Field's (D, TNT)
Source: "Mrs. Fields Best Ever Cookie Book"
Yield: 54 cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup salted butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12 ounces (about 2 cups) raisins
12 ounces (about 2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 300°F.

In medium bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Mix well with wire whisk. Set aside.

Blend sugars in a large bowl using an electric mixer set at medium speed. Add butter and mix until grainy, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix at medium speed until smooth.

Add the flour mixture, raisins, and chocolate chips. Blend at low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1" apart. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Transfer cookies immediately to a cool, flat surface using a spatula.

Poster's Notes:
Here is a chocolate chip cookie recipe from Mrs. Field's Cookie Book and it produces a beautiful cookie. I made it with a lesser amount of raisins and added walnuts.
