Brownies, Pesach II (D/P, KLP, TNT)
Source: Unknown
Yield: 24

3 large eggs
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
4-1/2 tablespoons matzo cake meal
3/4 cup cocoa
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped

Melt butter and set aside. Beat eggs until light. Add sugar gradually and beat until light and fluffy. Add slightly cooled melted butter and beat well.

Add salt, cake meal, and cocoa to egg mixture and blend well. Stir in nuts.

Grease and dust with cake meal one 9"x13" pan. Pour in batter and bake in 400°F oven for about 20 to 30 minutes or until done.

Sprinkle hot brownies with chocolate shavings or chips and return to oven for a couple of minutes until chocolate melts. Spread melted chocolate evenly over brownies and let cool before cutting.

Poster's Notes:
I halved the recipe, changed an incorrect baking time, and added a little more detail to the directions. If you make this in the food processor as I just did, you don't have to chop the nuts beforehand--you can do it right in the food processor. This recipe is really a keeper.
