Brownies, Black Bean (P, TNT)
Source: Weight Watchers board
Serves: 16

1 box of commercial brownie mix, any brand
1 15-to-16-ounce can black beans

Open box of brownie mix and dump into mixing bowl.

Put black beans INCLUDING all liquid into a blender or food processor and puree.

Combine bean puree into brownie mix, using a spoon, stir until smooth--about 50 strokes. Pour into a greased (I use cooking spray) 9"x13" baking pan. Bake according to box directions for temperature. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. I find with the mix I use it is done in 2/3 time listed on the box, my mix says to bake approximately 30 minutes, and it's done in about 20, but you need to check!

Feel free to add any extras you like--nuts, flavorings, etc.

Poster's Notes:
For anyone wishing to try an excellent low fat brownie recipe... you must try this! Moist, fudgy, and delicious, very lowfat, has fiber, too. I think this came from a Weight Watchers board, but I can't give credit to the recipe author.
