Crust:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
Filling:
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Make Crust:
Combine first 3 ingredients and press into a 9"x13" pan.
Bake at 350°F for approximately 12 minutes. Cool on rack for 5 minutes.
Make Filling and Assembly:
Beat eggs slightly; add brown sugar gradually until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to above mixture. Stir in coconut, chocolate chips, and nuts.
Stir over baked crust. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into bars or squares.
