Bars, Hazelnut Pie (D, TNT)

Yield: 16

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs
3/4 cup honey
1 cup roasted and coarsely chopped Oregon hazelnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon flour

Combine first three ingredients; cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture into greased 12"x8"x2" pan.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

Beat eggs slightly; add remaining ingredients, blend well. Pour over partially baked crust.

Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes.

Cool to room temperature and cut into bars.
