Herbes de Provence (P, KLP, TNT)

Yield: 2-1/2 tablespoons

1 tsp. thyme, dried
1 tsp. rosemary, ground
1 tsp. summer savory
1/2 tsp. lavender (optional but traditional)
1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. basil, dried
1/2 tsp. sage, dried
1/2 tsp. oregano, dried

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Crush slightly with a pestle or the back of a spoon. Store in an airtight container. Rub into meat, chicken, or fish for a dry rub, or combine with olive oil for a marinade.

Poster's Notes:
I don't think I used ALL of the herbs listed in my mixture (I know for sure I did not put lavender in it!!!). Anyway, I keep this handy in the cabinet and sprinkle on chicken when I roast it, too. Even the kids enjoy it!
