Crockpot Cholent II (M, TNT)

In a crockpot, combine:
2 cups lentils
4 cups water
2 cups partially cooked brown rice (Actually, I used a Lundberg red rice. Wild rice might also work well...)
1/4 cup dried mushrooms (no need to soak due to the long cooking time)
1-2 tbsp. Herbs de Provence (the herbs tend to lose their flavor during the lengthy cooking process so use more than usual)
2 tsp. garlic powder
6-8 slices strongly flavored salami, cut into thin strips
Salt and pepper if you really think you need it what with the salami

Mix thoroughly and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
