Reese's Cups, Copycat (D/P, TNT)
Source: Unknown
Serves: 12-15

Filling:
2 sticks margarine or butter, softened or at least at room temperature
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1-3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1-1/4 cups peanut butter (smooth)

Topping:
16 oz. chocolate chips, melted

Make Filling:
Combine the four ingredients. Start with the butter and sugar, and add as much of the graham cracker crumbs as you can in the food processor.

When the food processor refuses to do anything more, take out the dough and mix the rest of the graham cracker crumbs and peanut butter into the dough until it's all smoothly mixed. I have to get in there and squish with my hands to really mix it.

Press into a 9"x13" ungreased pan.

Make Topping:
Melt chocolate chips and spread on top. Allow to cool. cut into small squares, and ENJOY!!

Poster's Notes:
If you don't want to use paraffin in your Homemade Reese's Cups, here's a recipe that looks pretty similar and doesn't include paraffin. Our son is addicted to these, and they hold up well in the mail.

It's a superb recipe and requires no baking, but it's too thick for a mixer or food processor, so at some point, I have to work on mixing the rest of the ingredients by hand.

Can be dairy or pareve, depending upon the shortening and chocolate used.
