Chocolate Frosting I (P, KLP, TNT)

1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons potato starch, (or corn starch during the year)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons margarine
1 cup chocolate chips, (6 oz)
1 teaspoon vanilla; or 1 package vanilla sugar

Mix sugar, starch, and salt, add boiling water. Cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil, boil one minute and remove from heat.

Stir in chips until smooth. Stir in margarine and vanilla. Spread while warm.

Poster's Notes:
Can use as a filling for a Pesach 7-layer cake or chocolate roll.

-If using vanilla sugar, add with the regular sugar.

-If using vanilla sugar, decrease the 1 cup sugar by the amount in the package
