Dump Cake II (D/P, TNT)

Serves: 12

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 21-ounce can pie filling
1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F if using dark or non-stick pan.)

In large bowl dump cake mix. Pour melted butter/margarine and stir until just crumbly. Do not over mix!

Spread pie filling and pineapple in ungreased 13"x9" pan.

Sprinkle cake mixture evenly over fruit (I used apple, but recipe calls for cherry).

Bake 30 to 36 minutes or until deep golden brown.

Cool for 30 minutes. Serve warm or cool. To store, loosely cover.

Poster's Notes:
If using margarine use only the kind that is 65% vegetable oil or greater.

This one is easy enough for my granddaughters (ages 5 and 7) to make.
