Coffeecake, Banana Chocolate Chip IV (D/P, TNT)

Cake Batter:
1 cup margarine or shortening
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 bananas, mashed
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup of sour cream (I use pareve sour "cream")
1 teaspoon vanilla

Topping:
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Make Cake Batter:
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt margarine or shortening and put into mixing bowl. Add sugar, eggs, and bananas and mix.

Combine dry ingredients. Alternately, add dry ingredients and sour cream to banana mixture. Add vanilla.

Assembly:
Pour half of batter into a greased tube pan or a rectangular pan. Layer with half the topping and then repeat.

Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes.
