Source: Chagrin Valley Times
Serves: 6

3 eggs
1-1/2 cups cooking oil
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
4 cups chopped, peeled cooking apples

Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup milk

Cream eggs, cooking oil and sugar. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Fold sifted ingredients into the creamed ingredients. Stir in vanilla. Blend and add pecans and cooking apples.

Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes in a 9"x13" pan. Leave cake in pan. Add topping.

Topping:
Boil brown sugar, margarine, and milk for 2-1/2 minutes and pour over hot cake. Let it cool in pan. Some of the topping will be absorbed and make the cake moist and delicious.

Poster's Notes:
