Chocolate Cake I (P, TNT)
Source: "Pleasures of your Food Processor," by Norene Gilletz
Serves: 12

2/3 cup cocoa
2-1/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. instant coffee
1-1/2 cups orange juice or water
3 eggs
1-1 /4 cups canola oil

Steel Knife: Combine all ingredients in processor bowl. Process until blended, about 10 seconds.

Add orange juice and eggs. Start processor and add oil through feed tube while machine is running. Process batter for 45 seconds. Do not insert pusher in feed tube and do not overprocess.

Pour batter into a well-greased 10" tube pan or 12-cup bundt pan.

Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes, until cake tests done. Cool for 20 minutes before removing cake from pan. Freezes well.

Poster's Note:
This is a wonderful chocolate cake that is perfect for Shabbat, or any time. It is big, dark and delicious. It's also quick and easy to make, all in one bowl! I've also used it as a basic birthday cake recipe for many years. Enjoy!
