How To Make A Menorah Challah (P, TNT)
Source: The back of an ad for real estate agents-the Seligmans
Yield: 1 Menorah Challah

1 package of 6 small frozen challah rolls (or use your favorite challah recipe according to directions)
Egg wash
Sesame seeds

Craisins or dried apricots, cut in half

Prepare a baking pan by spraying with oil spray. Cover with parchment paper and spray paper. Let rolls defrost enough to untwist them.

Untwist the first roll and roll it back and forth to smooth and lengthen it. Place on prepared pan in a very wide U shape. Do the same with 3 more rolls, placing each one inside the original U until they are all even on top (these make up the arms of the menorah.)

Untwist the 5th roll and lay it across the middle of the U's to form the Shammas. It should be perpendicular to the arms.

Use the last roll for a base for the menorah. Paint with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on the center post. Use craisins or small pieces of apricots at the top of each U shape to represent flame. Let rise 30 minutes and bake 30 minutes at 350°F.
