Beef Roast, Top Rib (M, KLP, TNT)

Serves: 10 to 12

1 top rib roast, approximately 4 pounds
1 package onion soup mix
Thyme
Seasoned salt
Pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
2/3 cup liquid

Pour onion soup over roast. Add spices and sugar. Pour liquid over roast.

Cover tightly with foil. Roast for about 2 hours, or until nice and tender.

Slice against the grain.

Poster's Notes:
The liquid can be anything such as apple juice, orange juice, or ginger ale.

A nice touch is to add potatoes alongside or under the roast--they are incredible.

I don't know why everyone says top rib is stringy! It isn't at all. I think.
