Brisket, Grandma Sylvia's (M, TNT)

Serves: 4 or more

2-1/2 lb. brisket
2 8-ounce cans tomato-mushroom sauce or Arturo Sauce (click here for recipe)
2 cans water
2 medium onions, wedged
3 carrots, sliced
Sliced mushrooms
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper

Brown brisket in a frying pan on both sides. Place in a deep pot. Add sauce, water, onions, carrots, and seasoning. Bring to a boil. Then let simmer for 2 hours.

Add sliced mushrooms. Simmer until fork tender.
